Red bike at Elwood Beach

I took this photo a while ago, wanting to feature the bike in the foreground. I firstly tried masking the bike in photoshop and selecting the rest of the photo and desaturating it, but that ended up not being the desired effect. I reverted back to processing the image through HDR and this is what I ended up with.
